How do I archive my data rooms?

When you cancel your Orangedox license, your data rooms & shared links are automatically archived as long as you cancel the license without removing your account.

What happens when a data room is archived?

Your data rooms, shared links, and their associated data are preserved, but they are no longer active. Archiving allows you to retain your data without keeping an active Orangedox subscription.

Your data rooms will remain archived until you reactivate your account.

Canceling your license vs. removing your account

Canceling your license and removing your account are two different actions.

• Cancel your license: Your account remains intact and your data rooms & shared links are automatically archived.
• Remove your account: Your account and associated data are removed.

If you may need access to your data rooms again in the future, canceling your license without removing your account allows you to preserve them for later use.
