- Can you see the exact page that was viewed?
- Yes you can. Including the time spent on each page.
- Can I export metrics or share analytics with my team members?
- Yes. You are able to share your metrics with your team members and export data in CSV format.
- Can I track files sent previously from Google Drive?
- Orangedox can only track files shared using our app, any files previously shared with Google Drive can't be retroactively tracked.
- Can I stop recipients from downloading or forwarding files?
- Yes, you can disable downloads and use Orangedox device-verification technology to prevent forwarding.
- Will people who view my files know who else I've sent them to?
- No. Unlike documents shared on Google Drive, Orangedox will never reveal who else you've shared your documents with.
- Do I need to upload my files?
- No. Orangedox pulls files directly from your connected Google Drive or Dropbox. Plus the Google Drive / Orangedox integration keeps your documents in sync whenever you make changes to your source Google Drive or Dropbox folder. No uploading required.
- Can I preview PDF files when shared using Orangedox?
- Orangedox lets your users preview files like, PDF's, Google Docs Sheets and Slides as well as video and audio files. The full list of files available for preview can be found here.
- Do Google Drive and Dropbox files have different restrictions?
- Google Drive files have a 500MB size limit for downloading, while Dropbox files have no size restrictions. However, any file that can't be previewed or exceeds size limits will not be available for downloads for Google Drive, where as for Dropbox even when preview is unavailable you are able to download the files regardless of your settings.
