Orangedox lets your users preview files like, PDF's, Google Docs Sheets and Slides as well as video and audio files. The full list of files available for preview can be found here.
Download restrictions only work for files that support secure preview: PDFs (up to 50MB), Microsoft Office files (Word/PowerPoint up to 50MB), Google Workspace documents (up to 15MB), MP4 videos (up to 500MB), images (JPG, PNG, TIFF, GIF, BMP up to 500MB), MP3 audio files (up to 100MB), and over 30 text/code file formats (up to 30MB). Files exceeding these limits or unsupported formats will not be available for download.
Files that exceed the maximum size limits will not be available for download for Google Drive files, as they cannot be previewed in our secure viewer where as for Dropbox files they will be available for download.
Google Drive files have a 500MB size limit for downloading, while Dropbox files have no size restrictions. However, any file that can't be previewed or exceeds size limits will not be available for downloads for Google Drive, where as for Dropbox even when preview is unavailable you are able to download the files regardless of your settings.
Files that exceed size limits or aren't supported for preview are not available for download. This includes ZIP archives, executables, CAD files, and oversized documents except for Dropbox files.
