Support for MS Office Documents

What does that mean for you?

All existing shared MS Office documents can now be previewed online, allowing you to prevent downloading (if required) and track page by page viewership metrics!

Do you need to do anything?

Yes. We highly recommend checking your data rooms and shared files to see how these files look as an online preview. Note that we support previewing of docx and pptx file formats that are under 50Mb in size. 

If your data rooms or shared files have downloading disabled, then recipients will ONLY be able to preview these files online, while previously they could only be downloaded.

What about Excel?

Many of you have asked to have your Excel files be previewed online and we're working on a solution. We'll keep you posted as to when we have that ready.
