
How do I upgrade my account?

This guide walks you through how to upgrade your Orangedox account. You’ll learn who is allowed to upgrade, and what happens to your existing subscription.
Open the Upgrade Window
Use the upgrade link to open the account upgrade screen.
This takes you to the page where you can review available upgrade options for your account.
Who can Upgrade
Only the account owner can upgrade your account, if you’re a regular admin, you will not be able to complete the upgrade yourself.
What happens to my current subscription?
Your unused subscription time will be pro-rated towards your new subscription. Also your billing cycle will stay the same as your original subscription.
What plans can I upgrade to?
You can upgrade your plan based on your current billing cycle
- Monthly to Yearly upgrades are supported
- Yearly to Yearly upgrades (to a higher plan) are supported
- Downgrades can be requested via support@orangedox.com
- Yearly to Monthly are not supported
What happens to your current subscription if you cancel?
Your current subscription is canceled immediately once the upgrade is applied.
This means
- All active share links (including Data Rooms, Shared Files, and Published Files) are disabled
- Access to previously shared content is disabled
It’s recommended to only cancel your subscription once you’re not in need of Orangedox services.
