
How do I cancel my license?

This guide shows you how to cancel a paid license in Orangedox. You’ll also learn how to remove your account and what needs to be completed before doing so.
Cancelling a Paid License
Note that only the account owner can cancel licenses.
1. Open Licenses
Go to the Account app and select the Licenses tab. This is where you can manage all paid licenses attached to your account.
Only the account owner can access the license tab.
2. Cancel the License
Scroll to Active Licenses, click the three dots next to your license, and select Cancel. Use this option when you want to stop the license from renewing.
Canceling a license happens immediately, not at the end of your billing cycle. If you want to continue using Orangedox until the end of your billing cycle we recommend cancelling just before your license is renewed.
Canceling your Account
1. Open My Profile
Go to the Account app and select My Profile.
2. Cancel your Account
Under the Profile section, select Cancel Account. This is the final step if you want to permanently remove your Orangedox account.
You must cancel all paid licenses before removing your account.
What happens when you cancel your account?
- Orangedox access to your Google Drive or Dropbox is removed
- All active share links are removed, including Shared Files, Published Files, and Data Rooms
- All metrics are removed, including when your NDA’s were accepted
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

Cancel licenses first
Always cancel all paid licenses before attempting to delete your account.
Check account permissions
Make sure you are the account owner to access license controls.
Review active links
Confirm whether any shared files or data rooms still need to remain accessible.
Understand billing impact
Canceling a license stops future charges but does not refund past billing periods.
Review metrics
Ensure you no longer need the metrics associated with Shared Files or Data Room access or NDA acceptance.
