Account Changes

Starting today you’ll now be able to track your Google Docs, including your Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides on Orangedox.

Inbox and Email Marketing apps now Share

We’ve moved all links created by the Inbox and Email Marketing apps to the new “Share” app. There you’ll still be able to view metrics and manage on your links created by these legacy apps.

With the new “Share” app you’ll be able to track your shared documents and folders with upwards of 500 emailed recipients. Unlike the legacy Inbox or Email Marketing apps, Orangedox will now email your recipients directly, which helps to provide better tracking metrics on who’s viewing your shared documents.

You’ll also be able to share your documents securely, for more information see the article Introducing Secure Document Sharing or check out the help documents here.

Data Rooms use Secure Document Sharing

In response to feedback we received around the password feature of Data Rooms, we’ve decided instead to use our new Secure Document Sharing feature with all newly created Data Rooms. Existing Data Rooms will still be shown under the “Data Room” app, and you’ll still be able to copy the access link and password plus disable/enable access to your existing rooms.

When creating a new room we’ll now send an access email to all your participants. This helps secure you rooms better, and eliminates the need to manually send the access link and password.

For more information on how we secure your documents please see Introducing Secure Document Sharing or to see how to use the new Data Room features check out the help documents here
